Editorial process
This is a living document. It will keep changing as people use it, push back on it, and bring new examples, terms, and corrections. This page describes how those changes happen.
Point of contact
Jared Coleman is the editor and point of contact for this document. Requests, corrections, new examples, and concerns should all be directed to him.
How a change is made
- A request comes in. Anyone may suggest a change: a correction, a new example, a reframing, or a concern about something already published.
- The editor drafts. Periodically, Jared will gather the outstanding requests into a draft set of changes.
- Drafts go to the previewers. Each draft will be circulated to the previewers (initially the participants of the first Sunaŵi workshop) for feedback, concerns, and edits.
- Iterate. Edits and concerns will be incorporated, and revised drafts will be re-circulated as needed.
- Hold before publishing. Nothing will be published until every previewer has had at least 7 days to respond to the current draft.
- Publish. Once that window has passed with no unresolved objections, the change will be made public.
Smaller edits (fixing typos, tidying formatting, repairing links, reorganizing or cross-referencing material that is already published) will be made as needed without going through the full cycle.
